CTiE is an ecumenical association through which the churches in Epsom seek to celebrate and live out together their unity in Christ. The association embraces the Roman Catholic Church at St Joseph’s, the three Anglican parishes, Epsom Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church, the Baptist Church, Generation Church, the Chinese Congregation (Methodist), and the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We work in conjunction with Churches Together in Ewell.
We aim To :
Be the voice of the churches in Epsom to the community
Enable the churches together to respond effectively to practical and spiritual needs in our
community, especially among the most vulnerable
Improve communication between the churches of Epsom
Provide opportunities for people from different denominations and Faiths to meet and
Among our regular activities are ecumenical Lent study groups, a March of Witness through Epsom High Street on Good Friday, a prayer group, and various united services. We are one of the main partners of Epsom and Ewell Food Bank. In this and other ways, we are learning what it means to enable the united churches to be a witness to Christ in the town.
In addition to group activities, we have three to four council meetings every year for governance purposes. These are open to all.
